CAC STAR STORY - JERRY MEYER

jerrymeyerOur February star has been a member since 1992 and has recently been an inspiration to us through his dedication to fitness and healthy living.  About 6 months ago, Jerry Meyer started cross-training in order to get in better shape for his men’s soccer team.  For Jerry, soccer is a fun and social sport, but also a great way to keep fit and really challenge himself.  You may see Jerry  sometimes in the afternoons, running sprints on the stairs or in the gym, lifting weights, or even swinging a racquet down on the courts.  Jerry says that now his workouts have much more purpose– he has received some great exercises from his chiropractor and Sports Enhancement Group trainer.  A low-carb diet also helps Jerry keep his stamina up and has helped him lose some unwanted weight and gain more muscle.  Jerry is also an avid golfer in his free time.  A big thanks to our CAC star this month for showing us how we can really enjoy fitness!
